Born in Yao, Osaka.

Junior high school age

For about three years in junior high school, I lived in Bangkok due to my father's work.
This is my first overseas experience.

Bangkok was a developing country unlike Japan,
When you go outside the house, it is not maintained at all.
The locals are of course Thai,
At the Japanese school I attended, there were English classes,
The tutor I asked was also in English.

A sudden change from being able to speak only Japanese
At first I had memories that were very difficult,
The experience of touching different cultures and multiple languages at this time
I think he made his current base.

Then, in the fall of the third year of junior high school, I returned to Japan to take the exam.

It was around this time that I began to become aware of the accountant profession.

When I was in my second year of high school and talked about my career with my father,I heard from an accountant that he had such a qualification.

Numbers were a common language around the world, and I liked English,Do you want to go to the accountant vaguely? I started thinking.

When I was a university student, I went to Canada(University of British Columbia) for one year from the summer of grade 2.(In Canada, one year starts in summer)
The official languages of Canada are English and French,Where I studied abroad, English was mainly used.

From this time, I remember that my desire to become an accountant became clear.

Accountant debuts

My first workplace as an accountant was PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Osaka Office.

I will have been in this workplace for about 10 years.
Statutory audits of listed companies,Overseas head office / branch referred work,We mainly performed IPOs and audited internal controls.

While developing an accountant career,Including overseas correspondence (exchange in English),The desire to work more globally has become very strong.

In 2011, I run for myself in the company, Seconded to PWC branch office in Dallas, USA
The local team and the local company will be audited.
At this site, we will conduct accounting business mainly in overseas I realized how hard and responsible it was.
First, tax calculation logic is completely different between Japan and overseas.
I was rescued to use the same system as an audit firm in Japan, Of course, everything is in English, exchange from Japan to overseas, Direct exchange on site.
The difference was obvious.

All reports to my boss are in English, and the language used around me is disliked, In short, it was thoroughly and thoroughly communicated straight.

Looking back now, the experience at this time has made me as an accountant I think it was a very thankful experience.
The current customer report (in English) definitely draws on the experience of the time.

Because I was able to come into contact with American culture different from Thailand and Canada on a daily basis,My English proficiency, which was mainly in business English, has grown stronger.

At first, it was only planned for six months,
As a result, I stayed in the United States for about one year.

PWC consulting

After returning to Japan, I was seconded to PWC Consulting.

Medium- to long-term plan setting (corporate planning work, subsidiaries of listed companies, etc.), Earlier closing of accounts (improve business content, find bottlenecks and improve earlier), IFRS introduction, We quantified operations and performed accounting work mainly.

Auditing is a business that takes care of shareholders' eyes, Consulting works from the same perspective as the company, I have the experience of chasing numbers from a very fresh and different perspective.

To independence

I retired in 2013 and decided to become independent.
Currently, accounting and taxation is conducted mainly for domestic customers.
To subsidiaries of customers in Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia (UK, Thailand, America), etc.
I travel abroad once every two months and interact directly with the site.

Also recently, from the connection of the PWC days, The Indian CPA and the Japanese CPA jointly worked together, Established a corporation in India (SAF).
It is a company that supports the advance from Japan to India.

In addition, work with customers in the UK, Israel and Baghdad is also ongoing, Of course, the exchanges are entirely in English.

June 2013-present
